immigrated on June 4, 1873 from Germany to the United States with his 2
brothers, Wilhelm and Louis, and he became a naturalized citizen of the
United States on October 18, 1880 in Passaic County, New Jersey. Minna
also immigrated from Germany to the United States in 1873.
The Brandt family married into the Skelton family when
Catharina Gesine (Catharine Rose) Brandt
married Alexander (Alex) William Skelton on November 11, 1916 in Paterson,
Passaic County, New Jersey.
