Saylor Homestead
This website is dedicated to sharing information among family members interested in genealogical research into various branches of my family tree and my husband's family tree. In an effort to protect personal information against identity theft, I am no longer posting birth and marriage information on living individuals. If you wish to request any information for your personal genealogical research or have any information to add to the project, please contact tricia@saylorhomestead.com.

Ancestors of Tricia Leanne Saylor:
I have been researching my family tree since 1983. My avenues of research are separated into each of my grandparental lines. More information can be found about each of these families in the corresponding sections.
McMahan
My current research includes the McMahan, Ball, Condron,
Stang/Stong, and Wilkinson ancestral lines.
I am looking for more information on the McMahan family in
Pennsylvania around 1800, Ohio from 1820 to 1840, and Carroll County,
Indiana after 1840. I am currently researching whether the five
Ball brothers that started the Ball Canning Company in 1880 are in any
way related to my Ball
relatives. I am looking for more information on the Condron family
in both the Huntingdon and Lancaster Counties of Pennsylvania from 1750 to
1800 and New Castle County, Delaware prior to 1750. I am looking to
piece together the Stang/Stong lineage from their arrival in Bucks
County, Pennsylvania about 1710 to Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania about
1780. I am looking for more information on the Wilkinson family
primarily focusing on Providence, Providence County, Rhode Island after 1652
and Durham County, England prior to 1652.
Other ancestral lines I am also researching include the Reader family from Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania about 1790, the Smith family from Rhode Island about 1620, and the Wickenden family from Rhode Island about 1650. I am also currently looking for more information on the Bird, Conyers, Johnson, and Lester ancestral lines.
Skelton
My current research includes the Skelton,
Baxter, and Brandt
ancestral lines. I am looking for more information on the Skelton
family in Ireland and in Rochester, Monroe County, New York from 1800 to 1850,
the Baxter family in England and in Patterson, Passaic County, New
Jersey from 1815 to 1860, and the Brandt family in Patterson,
Passaic County, New Jersey from 1870 to 1900 and in Prussia/Germany before
1870.
I am also currently looking for more
information on the following lines: Hilliard, and Knuppel, and
Suttle.
Ancestors of Brian James Saylor:
I have been researching my husband's family tree since 1995. My
avenues of research are separated into each of his grandparental
lines. More information can be found about each of these families in the
corresponding sections.
