about 1854. She was born about 1834 and died about 1875 in Madison,
Wisconsin. Eldon John Whitesett and his wife had thirteen children, but the
only branch that his been researched at this time is that of his
last child, Eldon John Milliken.
John Eldon Milliken was born on August 3, 1874 in Madison, Wisconsin. Unfortunately his mother died when Eldon was a small child leaving his father with thirteen children to care for. Since Eldon was so young, he was sent to his mother's two unmarried sisters to be raised by them. Thereafter, he was to go by his mothers maiden name of Milliken. His father kept and raised the other 12 children who were older than Eldon at the time of their mother's death. Updated 08/30/2001

he owned a large plantation and slaves in Virginia. The Schriver
family married into the Milliken family when Caroline M. Schriver married
